Important Information

Purpose of the Guide

The Service Publication and Price Guide ("Guide") provides Verizon Business customers with information about our state-to-state and international telecommunications services. It also applies to regulated intrastate services except to the extent it is governed by a state tariff. The Guide replaces information formerly contained in tariffs on file with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) prior to August 1, 2001. [...] We also have added information about our Internet, enhanced and other non-telecommunications products and services.

The Guide satisfies two important objectives:

  1. It provides information about our service offerings
  2. It serves as a foundation for agreements between Verizon Business and our business customers

You can receive an e-mail alert when the Guide is updated or modified. Click here:

How the Guide is Organized

The Guide has two main sections: 1) Services and 2) Special Customer Arrangements (SCAs).

Services

Name Changes: Certain pricing plan, product, feature and promotion name changes periodically occur. For a list of these changes, please click here: Name Changes

The Services section contains a description of available services, including service features and options, pricing, general and service-specific definitions, and general and service-specific terms and conditions.

Verizon Business services are classified as follows:

Interstate Services:

  1. Standard, regulated telecommunications products that are currently available
  2. Service packages for regulated telecommunications services
  3. Internet, enhanced, and other non-telecommunications servicesthat are currently available;
  4. Regulated and non-telecommunications services that are no longer available, except for customers of record as of the date the service was discontinued.

Intrastate Telecommunications Services

This section also contains Verizon Business' Standard Business Services Agreement, as well as the general terms and conditions of service that apply to regulated and unregulated services. If you do not have a signed contract or are receiving detariffed services under an expired contract, your use of Verizon Business services is governed by Verizon Business' Standard Business Services Agreement. If you have a signed contract with Verizon Business that is currently in effect, the terms of your signed contract will govern the provision of your Verizon Business services.

Special Customer Agreements (SCAs)

The Special Customer Arrangement section presents summaries of Special Customer Arrangements (SCAs) and other individually-negotiated service arrangements. With regard to SCAs, this section reflects the approach employed by Verizon Business (then MCI WorldCom) to meet FCC detariffing requirements over a period of time beginning in May 2000 and ending on May 19, 2001, when SCAs were detariffed in their entirety.

SCAs posted after May 19, 2001 can be identified by the presence of a date (for example, Jul-01) appearing on the last page of each SCA summary.

SCA summaries are published for informational purposes only, as service is provided to SCA customers according to individual written contracts between Verizon Business and our SCA customers.

Although the former tariff documentation was cumbersome and extensive, we are making every effort to streamline the information in the Guide to make it easy for you to navigate and for us to maintain and update.
