Janet Harrold is a product marketing manager with Verizon Business responsible for secure gateway services. In this position, she leads marketing, messaging and training activities to support the overall secure gateway product portfolio.

Ms. Harrold has more than a decade of experience in the communications industry. She began her career with ANS (now Verizon Business) ten years ago, leading marketing communication efforts for remote access, security services, IP VPN and Internet access services. Since then, Harrold has held positions in IP-VPN product marketing, Private IP product marketing and industry analyst relations.

Prior to starting her communications career, Ms. Harrold worked at Spectra-Tech Inc. in Shelton, CT in the capacity of program manager, where she managed that company’s marketing communications needs.

Ms. Harrold has a bachelor’s of science degree in Chemistry from Union College in Schenectady, NY. She lives in southwestern Connecticut with her husband and two children.
