Portfolio’s easy-to-use interface enables you to order data and switched services. It provides dedicated access line (DAL), toll-free, and frame relay utilization network management reports and Inventory reports for switched products. Private Line, Metro Private Line and DAL quotes can be generated using an on-line Portfolio tool together with checking for Local accessibility. With Portfolio, you also can view, add, and update trouble tickets for switched and private lines during a quick on-line session. Invoices can be viewed on-line, disputes initiated, payments made and daily CDRs delivered.
Verizon Business’s Electronic Data Exchange (EDE) interface allows you to transmit orders from your desktop directly to our provisioning system. After you upload your files, we provide confirmation within 15 minutes of file receipt. We also perform several error checks before loading our billing system and switches. The data is then sent electronically to either the Local Exchange Carrier (LEC) or the national service management system (SMS), depending upon the nature of your order.
Daily Call Detail Records (CDRs) provide detailed information through electronic access rather than tape. You can access the system 24 hours a day via Internet connection to Portfolio CDR Delivery. In addition, an end-to-end automated method of file delivery is available utilizing a Verizon Business frame relay connection and the Sterling Commerce Connect: Direct NDM software.
