The RISK Team is dedicated to informing Verizon Business clients and driving other security products and services through extensive risk intelligence operations. We aggressively gather Risk Intelligence from a wide range of sources, analyze and correlate that information, and then provide appropriate data, alerts, analysis and recommendations to our clients.

When the RISK Team discovers new attack modalities, insights from data breach investigations, or other factors affecting information risk, the RISK Team makes recommendations to appropriate groups within Verizon Business regarding efficient and effective mitigation strategies. Pragmatic adjustments are then made throughout our security offerings while our experts help clients navigate an often-changing risk landscape.

The goal is to reduce exposure for our customers. In seven studies performed over the 11-year history of our Security Management Program (SMP), our roughly 1,000 clients averaged significantly less risk when compared to thousands of other non-client participant organizations.
